Valley View Public School- Retaining Walls Remediation
Commissioned by the Department of Education, this retaining wall remediation project transformed aging and unsafe infrastructure into a cohesive, durable, and visually improved outdoor space. Working across three separate retaining wall sections (RW1, RW2, and RW3), Baker Built delivered a full scope of demolition, construction, and compliance works — all aligned with EFSG standards and strict WHS protocols.

Central Coast Grammar School – Admin Building Refurbishment
Baker Built was engaged by Central Coast Grammar School to undertake a detailed refurbishment of its Administration Building. The goal was to create a more functional, comfortable, and professional space for staff, support services, and student-facing roles.

Southern Cross – Secure Parking Buildings
Baker Built delivered a tailored vehicle storage solution for Southern Cross Distance Education Centre. Designed for resilience in a flood-prone, environmentally sensitive zone, the project involved full demolition of former basketball courts, ground raising, stormwater management, and the construction of three steel-framed sheds. Matrix cladding, internal fit-out, and landscaping were completed to a high standard while navigating environmental and geological constraints.

Tuggerah Lakes Secondary School – Retaining Walls & Carpark
Baker Built was contracted to replace failing infrastructure at the Tumbi Umbi campus of Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College. The works included the demolition of deteriorating retaining structures and the construction of a new carpark, pedestrian access paths, and surrounding landscaping. With the site situated near protected vegetation, our team worked carefully to preserve existing trees and implement erosion controls. The upgrade has delivered a safer, more functional environment for both students and staff, improving access and modernising the campus’ outdoor infrastructure.

Swansea High School – Amenities Block Refurbishment
This project saw the full transformation of a dated and non-compliant school bathroom facility. The works included the demolition and reconstruction of two separate amenities blocks, with a strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and ease of future maintenance. Key upgrades included epoxy flooring, aluminium louvre systems, a new service corridor for external pipe access, and strategic grout selections for long-term graffiti resistance. The result is a significantly improved space that better serves the needs of both students and school staff.

Merriwa Public School – Sports Court
Delivered for the NSW Department of Education, this project involved the full construction of a concrete-based outdoor court designed for safe, multi-sport use by students. The build included site prep, precision slab pouring, and high-performance surfacing — all completed with safety and usability front of mind. The completed facility now supports a wide range of outdoor activities and school sports with improved playability and visual appeal.

Merriwa Central School – Access Ramps, Paths & Stairs
Baker Built was engaged by the NSW Department of Education to complete a full-scale upgrade of the access infrastructure at Merriwa Central School. This project aimed to enhance site-wide accessibility while complying with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA), ultimately improving both safety and usability for all students, staff, and visitors.

Leura Cascades – Amenities Block & Picnic Facilities
Delivered in a sensitive heritage location, this project required extensive site clearing, civil works, and full construction of both an amenities building and detached picnic shelter. Accessibility, durability, and integration with the natural landscape were key priorities. The successful delivery of the project has led to Baker Built being awarded a second contract by Blue Mountains City Council for similar works at Lawson Park.

Killara High School – Curved COLA
Design and construction of 32m x 28m curved roof COLA with ceiling linings, lighting, power, PA system, and access reinstatement works. Project included re-engineering due to poor ground conditions and installation within a constrained live school environment.

This infrastructure upgrade provides the local community with a low-risk, user-friendly entry point to the river while ensuring long-term durability with minimal maintenance. The final outcome balances practical performance with visual harmony along the foreshore.

Glenvale School – Contamination Remediation
Working closely with project consultants, our team removed contaminated material and replaced it with clean fill, delivering a safe and compliant outcome. Upgrades also included stormwater infrastructure improvements and new concrete paving, ensuring long-term durability and safer daily access for school users.

Baker Built delivered a complete commercial kitchen fit-out for the Forster Community Centre, transforming an empty internal shell into a fully compliant, hygienic, and highly functional kitchen space.

Central Coast Grammar School – Portable Building Relocation & Renovations
Baker Built delivered a seamless multi-stage relocation project involving six demountable classrooms. Works included site establishment, building separation and transport, reassembly, engineering footings, and reinstatement of internal and external finishes. Minimal disruption and strong stakeholder communication were maintained throughout the build, demonstrating Baker Built’s capability in delivering complex school infrastructure projects.

Belmont Wetlands State Park – Campground & Amenities
Baker Built successfully remediated 2 hectares of contaminated land, specifically asbestos, and transformed the site into a sustainable and income-generating asset for the State Park. Located at Redhead Beach, NSW, the project aimed to develop formalised camping facilities while ensuring the land was properly remediated and environmentally safe.
