Commercial Kitchen Fit-Out at Forster Community Centre
Baker Built delivered a complete commercial kitchen fit-out for the Forster Community Centre, transforming an empty internal shell into a fully compliant, hygienic, and highly functional kitchen space.
The new kitchen is designed to support a range of community needs — from food preparation and meal services to event catering and educational programs. The project involved full internal build works, joinery installation, stainless steel fixtures, and appliance integration to meet commercial standards and accessibility requirements.

About The Project
Community Kitchen Upgrade at Forster Community Centre
Baker Built was engaged to design and construct a modern commercial kitchen within the Forster Community Centre. The goal was to create a clean, safe, and fully functional space that could support a range of community-focused activities, from shared meal programs to training sessions and catered events.
The fit-out included custom cabinetry, stainless steel benchtops, a commercial-grade cooktop and oven, rangehood, dishwasher, and microwave installation — all configured to meet food safety standards and ease of use. A movable stainless prep bench was added to maximise flexibility within the space, while the layout was designed to optimise workflow and accessibility.
